WELCOME

Sometimes we experience difficulties, confIicts and loss in our lives which are hard to bare. Its easy to keep struggling while hoping things will get better on their own. But sometimes they don't.

Knowing that there is someone you can turn to for help and support when you feel alone or overwhelmed can make all the difference.

As a qualified and experienced psychotherapist I know that therapy can help, by providing a unique space to be heard and understood - perhaps for the first time.

I work with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring them to the unique needs of every client - focusing on your story, your concerns.

If you want to talk to someone with an impartial ear, who can help untangle your thoughts, give you space to feel and support you in finding a way forwards, then I may be the right therapist for you.

IS THERE LIFE AFTER LOSS?

The impact of a bereavement, significant loss, or life changing or limiting illness can be devastating. Although loss is a part of life sometimes we need extra emotional support when it affects us. Working through your feelings with a therapist can help you come to terms with your loss and adapt to life moving forwards.

FEELING OVERWHELMED?

Does fear, anxiety and stress mean you aren't living the life you want to lead? Do you feel stuck or unable to make decisions? Perhaps it feels like past events are affecting how you cope with life today?

Therapy can provide the space to look at what has happened to you and its impact on your life, gaining new perspectives and more helpful coping strategies.

ABOUT ME

I specialise in helping people who have experienced loss and bereavement, or who need support dealing with, and adapting to, a difficult life event or change in their circumstances. I believe that we all have the capacity to 'self right' ourselves, but that sometimes we need help to move forwards and flourish.

My professional training is as an integrative psychotherapist which means I draw on a number of different evidence-based approaches in order to provide the most effective therapy for you. In addition, I have specific training and experience working

with people with cancer and their carers in a hospice setting. See below for details of my qualifications & professional status:
