Single-Session Therapy - A conversation about what matters most, when you need it most.

Sometimes what we need to talk about doesn’t need a long series of appointments — it needs a clear space, a compassionate ear, and an honest, focussed conversation. This is the heart of single-session therapy.

At its core, single-session therapy recognises that life’s challenges don’t always unfold in neat stages or on a fixed timeline. Life can feel heavy, overwhelming, or confusing in a particular moment — and that moment alone can be enough reason to talk. In a single session, we can give attention to what matters most right now — something that’s weighing you down, clouding your thinking, or disturbing your peace.

Rather than being a brief introduction or an assessment, this session is a complete, intentional therapeutic encounter. We work together to explore what has brought you to this point, to help untangle thoughts and feelings that may feel stuck, and to support you in finding meaning or clarity. It’s a chance to be truly heard and understood — which in turn may help you understand yourself better and plan a way forward.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional release, or simply a trustworthy, held space to think out loud, single-session therapy can be a meaningful step. There is no pressure to continue beyond this — only the possibility of insight, relief, and sometimes, a new direction.

If you’re curious about what this kind of session might offer, you’re very welcome to get in touch and explore further. We can have a conversation about what you are hoping for and whether this way of working feels right for you.

Sessions last 90 minutes, allowing enough time to settle in, explore what feels most important, and reflect together without feeling rushed. Sessions can take place face to face or remotely via zoom, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you. Ahead of the session, you’ll be invited to complete a brief pre-session form, which helps us keep our time focused and working on what matters most to you.
